NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING

Public notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Heyworth Community Unit School District #4, in the County of McLean, State of Illinois, that a proposed amended budget for said school district for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025, is on file and conveniently available to the public for inspection at 308 W. Cleveland Street, Heyworth, Illinois, in the school district office during the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm until March 19, 2025. Notice is further hereby given that a public hearing on said proposed budget will be held at 6:00pm on the 19th day of March, 2025 at the District Office, 308 W. Cleveland Street, Heyworth, Illinois.

School board members elected or appointed to their seat after June 13, 2011, are required to complete within the first year of their term a minimum of four hours of professional development leadership training covering topics in education and labor law, financial oversight and accountability, and fiduciary responsibilities of a board member.
