Talent Show 2025
Our annual talent show will be held on April 29th at 1:00 p.m. this year. We would love to see all of the talent from our students at HES this year! Some examples of the talent show are singing, dancing, tumbling, hula-hooping, jump-roping, magic, skits, and playing an instrument.
Skits will be done with a video again this year. If a skit is chosen for the talent show, the students will need to video their skit at home and have it ready for the talent show by April 24. Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Wepfer will not record skits for students. The skits will be played in each classroom so that the volume is better and everyone can fully enjoy the skit!
Tryouts
Date: Wednesday, April 2, 2025 after school in the gym
Students will need a permission slip to stay for the tryout. The permission slip will be a Google Form this year. Talent Show 2025
Tryouts usually last until 3:45 p.m. Parents can pick up their children in the lobby. We do not allow parents in the gym for tryouts. If your child is allowed to walk home, please note this on the permission slip form.
If you need music: please email Mrs. Thompson the link from YouTube, Apple Music, or Spotify. Please include time stamps on where to start and stop if needed.
If students are singing, it needs to be with a karaoke version. Songs need to be school-appropriate. For the talent show performance, words MUSt be memorized. Cheat sheets will not be allowed. Please help your child know where to start with their song.
Acts must be 2:30 or under to be accepted for the talent show and students can only be in one act
